Anderson County Sheriff’s Deputies investigated the following incidents:

EASLEY

Nov. 13 – R.D. Smith responded to 613 Cely Rd. where he verified the location of a car reported stolen by the GCSO.

Nov. 13 – J.E. Scott was dispatched to 110 Cooper Lane where Justin Barthelmes reported that his 1997 gold Honda Accord had been stolen while he was attending services at his church. The loss was estimated at $5000.

PELZER

Nov. 12 – K.S. Looney responded to 301 Courtney St. to Ashmore’s Lounge, where he placed Billy Patton, WM, 61, on trespass notice at the request of Michael Ashmore.

Nov. 12 – K.S. Looney responded to 34 Lyman St. where Cathy Jackson reported that her son, whom she had evicted from the residence, had come back on the property and she wanted him placed on trespass notice, which Looney did.

Nov. 13 – C.M. Ashe responded to 800 Campbell Rd. where Sara Ferguson reported that someone had broken into her home while she was at church and stolen various items valued at $430.

Nov. 13 – J.E. Scott was dispatched to 505 Gossett Dr. where Hadji Robinson asked that James Williams, BM, 60, 6’, 197 pounds be placed on trespass notice, which he was.

Nov. 14 – S.L. Steward responded 1851 Easley Hwy. to Interstate Tire, where Gary Bennett reported the theft of two heavy equipment tire rims valued at $4000.

PIEDMONT

Nov.12 – R.D. Smith responded to 110 Frontage Rd. where Anun Sampson reported the theft of his 2001 Freightliner tractor and the load he was pulling, while he was eating and showering at the Pilot Station.

Nov. 13 – J.D. Sparkman responded to 310 Anderson St. where Joseph Jacques III reported that someone had entered his home and stolen items valued at $650.

Nov. 13 – B.A. Dunn responded to 2100 Highway 86 where Robert Cook reported the theft of his 2006 Ford Ranger, bearing SC tag# VV672, valued at $10,000.

Nov. 14 – A.M. Love responded to the SavWay store at 1004 Hwy. 86 where Sherry Pinson reported that someone had broken into the store. A review of video tape surveillance revealed two white males entering the store and stealing several cartons of cigarettes.

Nov. 14 – E.E. Standard responded to 1501 Elrod Rd. where he found Johnny Smith, WM, 40, of Greenville loading scrap metal onto a trailer. Smith claimed he had permission to do so but the property owner contradicted that claim when he was contacted. Smith was arrested for larceny and taken to ACDC.

WILLIAMSTON

Nov. 12 – L.F. Bolden responded to 100 Towne Square to the Williamston Police Dept. where he took custody of Carlos Davis, BM, 37, 6’, 270 pounds, on an active warrant.

Nov. 14 – J.G. Williams was dispatched to 106 Roxanne Dr. where Stefanie Davenport reported the breaking and entering of her home, and the theft of items valued at $830.

Nov. 14 – E.E. Standard responded to 107 P Williams Rd. where Danny Browning reported the theft of his 2000 Honda FourTrax ATV, valued at $3000.

Nov. 14 – J.G. Williams responded to 825 Belton Hwy. where Larry Davenport stated that two suspects had come to his car lot in a red Honda and test drove several vehicles, the last being a black Monte Carlo. They did not return the car and the Honda they were in was confirmed as stolen as well.
