Pelzer residents charged in meth bust

Anderson County Sheriff’s Narcotics Investigators arrested three Pelzer residents following an investigation of distributing methamphetamines.

The three individuals were arrested after a search warrant was executed at a residence located at 529 Old River Rd. Pelzer. The search warrant was the result of an ongoing drug investigation. Reports state methamphetamines and marijuana were found inside of the residence and three individuals in the residence were arrested.

Arrested and charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine were Gregory A. Buchanan, 41, 529 Old River Rd. Pelzer, Jennifer L. Sellars, 29, 107 Springfield Dr. Pelzer, and Desiree L. Smith, 49, 107 Springfield Dr. Pelzer. They were being held at the Anderson County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.

The investigation continues and additional arrests are likely, a Sheriff’s Department spokesperson said.
