Williamston Police Officers investigated the following:

Feb. 17 – Enrique Orta Mirano, 29, 956 Cool S Cool Springs Road, Bainbridge, Ga., was arrested for no SC drivers license and operating an uninsured vehicle after a black Volkswagon was observed attempting to by-pass a checkpoint. J. C. Harris investigated.

Feb. 17 – Brittany Mae Campbell, 27, 700 Simpson Rd., #13D, Anderson was arrested for driving under suspension after being checked at a safety checkpoint on Greenville Dr. Sgt. E. T. Huchins investigated.

Feb. 18 – Dwight Sullivan, 53, 4 Jehue St., Williamston reported a blue mountain bike valued at $50 stolen from the front porch. D. M. Stipe investigated.

Feb. 17 – Anthony Daquan Dean, 18, 18 Brown St., Williamston was arrested for disorderly conduct after officers responded to a complaint at Parkview Apartments. J. Rogers investigated.

Feb. 19 – Adam Blake Pinyan, 24, 215 Williamston Ct. was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident after officers responded to Minor St. and Town Square Dr., in reference to a vehicle striking a pole.

Feb. 16 – Anna Marie Barker, 48, 104 Davis St., Williamston reported an Apple IPhone valued at $130 stolen from her while at Palmetto High School talent show. B. C. Kelley investigated.

Feb. 20 – Susan Rae Haradon, 40, 6 Scruggs Rd., Williamston was arrested for outstanding bench warrant, no SC drivers license and no proof of insurance after a vehicle was observed on Belton Dr., without a functional tag light. M. E. Simmons, Sgt. K. J. Winn investigated.

Feb. 16 – SGT/SRO L. D. Ritter investigated a fight incident at Palmetto High School, 804 N. Hamilton St., in which two juveniles fought in the parking lot of the freshman academy. The fight was broken up by teachers. Reports state both juveniles admitted to fighting and neither was injured. Each student was given five days suspension.

Feb. 17 – Crystal Wren Cawthon, 222 Woodtrail Dr., reported tires punctured on her 1996 Toyota Camry causing $100 in damage. D. W. Bryant, L. E. Mulz investigated.

Feb. 14 – Jeness Renee Denmon, 22, 117 Windfield Hill Rd., Williamston was arrested for driving under suspension (3rd) after a Dodge Charger was observed on West Main St., with no headlights on. J. Rogers investigated.

Feb. 15 – Todd Allen Metz, 50, Quick Lube, 211 W. Main St., Williamston reported lending jumper cables valued at $75 to a person in a white Chevrolet Astro van, who drove away with them. J. Harris investigated.
