Three arrested for selling counterfeit items at Jockey Lot

Three people were arrested Saturday for selling couterfeit items at the Jockey Lot. Anderson County Sheriff’s Office and South Carolina Secretary of State’s Office Investigators conducted a counterfeit merchandise sweep Saturday at the Anderson Jockey Lot which resulted in counterfeit merchandise valued at over $50,000 being seized.

Items included shoes, sunglasses, purses, handbags, collegiate and professional sports memorabilia. Anderson County Sheriff’s Narcotics investigators also cited a vendor for selling synthetic marijuana which was seized by the officers.

Arrested and charged with selling counterfeit merchandise were: Wesley Blake Ambrose 26, 330 Clamp Dr. Belton; Jamey Lee Shaw 36, 203 Rock Springs Rd. Belton and Annie Victoria Curry, 48, 810 Hannah Heights Trl. Huff, Ga. All three individuals were taken to the Anderson County Detention Center where they awaited a bond hearing.
