Anderson County Sheriff’s Deputies investigated the following incidents:

EASLEY

March 4 – J.E. Scott responded to the Dollar General store at 3309 Pelzer Hwy. where store manager Ashleigh Henderson reported that a juvenile WF with brown hair entered the store with a black purse with yellow stars on it that appeared to be empty. She later left with several items in the purse which she did not pay for, and left in a car driven by another female.

Scott later observed a vehicle matching the description of the vehicle and he stopped it. He observed the purse in the back seat and the juvenile, name and description withheld, admitted taking the items. The driver, Pamela Hall claimed to have no knowledge of the theft. The juvenile was turned over to her guardian and both were placed on trespass notice for the store.

PELZER

March 4 – C.M. Turner was on patrol near Hwy. 29 and Old Brickyard Road when he observed a vehicle driving in the middle of the two northbound lanes. He stopped the vehicle and discovered that Pascual Gaspar, WM, 26, 5’6″, 192 pounds had a consular identification but no SC driver’s license. He was taken into custody.

PIEDMONT

March 3 – Sgt. J. Bowland received a complaint at the ACSO headquarters from Jennifer Bramlett of 118 Elrod Place Rd. who stated that her 2001 white Jeep Grand Cherokee, SC tag # AIZ620 had been stolen from her residence. The vehicle was valued at $8000.

March 3 – A. Land was dispatched to 201 Wildmarch Rd. where Mary Dillingham reported that someone had stolen her 2000 GMC Jimmy by towing it away. She stated that there were no liens on the dark blue vehicle which was parked at the rental property at that location. The loss was estimated at $1500.

March 4 – C.K. Cowan was dispatched to 13 Prospect St. where Laurie Davis, WF, 45, reported that her husband had pushed her to the ground during an argument. She declined to press charges but the deputy informed her that the case would be presented to a judge.

WILLIAMSTON

March 2 – B. Simpson, desk deputy at the ACSO, received a complaint from Donna Burroughs, of Midway Road that she and her fellow workers at a medical facility in Greenville had been subjected to stalking by a former patient at the facility. She said the calls and contacts had begun in April of 2011, when he was discharged from the facility and placed on trespass notice. Burroughs said she has also been contacted at her home and received numerous phone calls. Due to his state of mind, she said she and her workers are afraid fort heir safety. The investigation continues.
