Williamston Police Officers investigated the following incidents;

Mar. 4 – Joshua Scott Fetter, 24, 109 Sheila Dr. Williamston was arrested for driving under suspension, failure to surrender tag and operating an uninsured vehicle after a Toyota pickup truck was observed on Greenville Dr. with no tail lights. D. M. Stipe investigated.

Mar. 3 – Michael Alexander Gonzalez, 34, 204 Clinkscales St,. Belton was arrested for driving under suspension after a Chevrolet Avalanche truck was observed traveling at a high rate of speed (47mph in a 35 mph zone) on Belton Dr. B. C. Kelley investigated.

Mar. 3 – Thomas Henry Grant, 21, 10 Morgan St., Pelzer was arrested for shoplifting after being observed taking batteries and a hat valued at $35 from Ace Hardware, 29 Pelzer Ave. J. Rogers investigated.

Mar. 3 – Larry Franklin Moore, Jr., 41, 24 Virginia Dr., Williamston was arrested for driving under suspension and operating an uninsured vehicle after a white Ford Focus was observed stopped in the middle of the road on West Carolina St. and then making a left turn onto Hamilton St. without using a turn signal. T. J. Richardson investigated.

Mar. 3 – Erin Nicole Edmonds, 21, 111 Middleton Blvd., Williamston reported $230 in cash removed from her wallet which was in a buggy at the Dollar General, 526 West Main. Reports state the wallet was found on the floor by a customer who turned it in to the manager. D. M. Stipe investigated.

Mar. 2 – Daniel Richard Morrison, Jr., 25, 37 Knight St,. Williamston was arrested and charged with three counts of transfer of beer to a minor after officers were dispatched to the residence in reference to a loud music complaint.

Arrested for minor in possession of beer were Toby Wayne Roberts, Jr. 18, 112 Terrapin Dr., Williamston and Kelsey Dannelle Green, 17, 11 Woodward St,. Belton. A 16 year old female juvenile was also arrested for minor in possession of beer and public disorderly conduct. Sgt. E. T. Hutchins, D. M. Stipe investigated.

Feb. 29 – Larry Davenport reported a dealer tag valued at $35 stolen from a 2010 Chevrolet Impala while the vehicle was parked at Hardees, 1520 Anderson Dr., Williamston. Sgt. D. W. Bryant investigated. The tag was later recovered.

Feb. 28 – Waymon Sims, 69, 602 Moorings St., Williamston reported damage to a sliding door and some blocks at the residence. J. Rogers investigated.

Mar. 1 – Donna Frances Seigler, 48, 41 Ridge Ct., Williamston reported a damaged mailbox in the roadway at Woodmere Court. M. E. Simmons, Sgt. K. J. Winn investigated.

Feb. 27 – Roger Eddleman, 42, 200 Country Club Dr., Williamston reported $500 in damage to a door of the residence at 52 Ridge Ct. The door appeared to have been kicked in. J. Rogers investigated.

Mar. 1 – William Christopher Guthrie, 22, 402 1st St. Ext., Williamston was arrested for discharging a firearm in the city limits after officers were dispatched to the residence in reference to possible prowlers. Reports state Guthrie fired five shots from a Mossberg shotgun into the air in an attempt to scare off the prowlers. The shotgun was seized and placed into evidence. Sgt. K. J. Winn, M. E. Mar. 1 – Anthony Todd Black, 45, 306 Easley Hwy., Pelzer was arrested for public disorderly conduct after officers responded to the front of town hall and found him on the front steps. Sgt. K. J. Winn, M. E. Simmons investigated.
