The Anderson County Democratic Party will hold its 2012 Convention on Saturday, March 24 at 10 a.m. at the Anderson County Library.
At the meeting the group will elect county officers for the next 2 years, elect delegates to the Democratic State Convention in May, consider its platform, hear from candidates and make plans for the 2012 election season.
Persons interested in being active in the Democratic Party are encouraged to attend. Delegates will be assigned by precinct.
