West Pelzer officer Jeremy Sargent and Anderson County Deputy Kevin Evatt arrest the driver of a motorcycle following a chase Wednesday afternoon. Sargent attempted to stop the motorcycle after observing the passenger not on a seat, but riding in an unsafe manner, on the rear fender. The driver drove away and after nearly nine miles was arrested by Sargent following a brief foot chase. Speeds rarely exceeded the speed limit due to a mechanical problem with the bike.
