Big game, high hopes

In one of the biggest games ever for Palmetto softball, the Lady Mustangs (14-3, 6-1) took an 8-4 loss Thursday night to the defending Region Champions, the Crescent Tigers.

The Lady Tigers improved to 9-4 overall and 3-1 in the region with the win.

The Mustangs defeated the Tigers 3-1 the week before in a game held at Crescent after having two early season loses to them and game into the home game with high expectations.
