Victoria Williams, a 2013 power hitting corner infielder at Palmetto High School has been named the Most Valuable Player at the Southeast Top Prospect Showcase. The event was held at Mercer University on Sunday March 25th and included 36 of the top unsigned prospects from Georgia, Virginia, South Carolina, Maryland and Florida.

Williams had an outstanding showcase, hitting an opposite field HR in her 2nd at-bat of the day and hitting the ball extremely hard several more times. Victoria is the only player in FSR history to grade out as a 10 Power & 10 Hitting for Average. “We expect Victoria to go off the board rather quickly after her showing at the Southeast Top Prospect Showcase,” said a showcase spokesperson. “She’s got middle of the line-up, major Division 1 conference type hitting ability and will be a fun player to track throughout the remainder of her HS career and through her collgiate career.”
