Williamston Police Officers investigated the following:

Mar. 30 – Brandie Marie Toothman, 30, 835 Joe Black Rd. Williamston was arrested for operating an uninsured vehicle, driving under suspension and failure to register a vehicle after officers observed a Nissan car on Mill St. D. M. Stipe investigated.

Mar. 30 – Bertie K. Forney 116 Williamston Court reported a 2002 Ford Taurus stolen. The vehicle was valued at $10,000. D. M. Stipe investigated.

Mar. 30 – Willie Owens Jones, 77, 304 N. Hamilton St., Williamston reported two white males in a pickup truck attempted to pick up chain link fence valued at $100 from her yard. Sgt. E. T. Hutchins investigated.

Mar. 30 – Robert Eric Stratton, 19, 311 Ross St., Piedmont was arrested for simple possession of marijuana after officers were dispatched to the area of the veterans park and Mineral Spring Park. Lt. T. A. Striss, Sgt. E. T. Hutchins investigated.

Mar. 26 – Jevon Wesley Sloan, 31, 403 Greenville Dr., Williamston was arrested for driving under suspension and Stephon Williams was arrested for allowing an unauthorized person to drive after a green Lincoln Town Car was observed on Cherokee Rd. and Ida Tucker. Sgt. E. T. Hutchins investigated.

Officers investigated several incidents of misuse of phone and/or threatening phone calls.

Mar. 22 – Helen F. Ausburn, 76, of Williamston, reported a televison and DVD player missing from 100 Parker St. The items were valued at $50. J. Rogers investigated.

Mar. 24 – Ruth Annie Chastain, 69, 4 W 2nd Street reported damage to a mail box. M. E. Simmons investigated.

Mar. 23 – Mario Perez Cruz, 121 Wilson Bridge Rd., Fountain Inn was arrested for driving under suspension after a green Dodge truck was observed on Anderson Drive with a defective brake light. M. E. Simmons investigated.

Mar. 21 – Kimberly Yvonne Cape, 37, 105 S. Green St., Williamston was arrested for driving under suspension after a silver Chevrolet was observed on Main St. E. T. Hutchins investigated.

Mar. 30 – Jerry l Campbell, 65, 100 Jester Court reported damage to his yard done by a vehicle. The damage was estimated at $100. Sgt. E. T. Hutchins investigated.
