The Town of Williamston will hold a public hearing on April 12 at 2 p.m. concerning an application to be submitted to South Carolina Department of Commerce, Grants Administration for a Community Development Block Grant. The Town is requesting $122,690 for construction of 700 feet of 6-inch gravity sewer and 3 manholes along Church Street to alleviate problems with old, deteriorated sewer lines. Those requiring special services to attend the meeting are asked to call 48 hours in advance so that arrangements can be made.
