Ware Place Church of God was founded on the 2nd day of May, 1974 by the Reverend John L. Smith and his family. The church began in a store front building on Hwy 25 in the Ware Place Community. The church was organized with nine charter members. Property was donated on Hwy 418 in Pelzer, where the church still stands today.
We are still going strong today as a Pentecostal Church and we love to worship the Lord.
We feature a traditional service as well as a contemporary service both at 11:00am on Sunday.
