An old fashioned “Country Fun Day” will be held at the Pelzer Ball Fields from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 23. The event will be a fundraiser for Vacation Bible School Outreach to be held at Pelzer First Baptist Church in July. The event will feature gospel singing, door prizes, food, contests, kids games and inflatables.
Specials games will pit five member teams representing churches, work, neighborhoods or whoever against each other. Games will include mud pit tug of war; belly slide race; cricket spitting contest; hupcap toss; water dodgeball; armpit serenade; crazy horseshoes (using toilet seats); country bowling (roll a tire into trash cans) and wheelbarrow races.
