The Williamston Police Department investigated the following incidents: May 24 – Todd Allen Perkins, 35, 9 S Academy St., Williamston was arrested for driving under suspension after a blue Ford pickup truck was observed at a safety traffic checkpoint. M. E. Simmons investigated.

May 24 – Gilbert Henry Ard III, 17, 1909 Welcome Rd., Williamston was arrested for no drivers license, speeding and possession of alcohol underage after a gray 1995 Olds Cutlass was observed speeding 55/35 on West Main St. Sgt. D. W. Bryant, L. E. Mulz investigated.

May 24 – Felipe Tomas Pasquel, 26, 170 G St., Williamston was arrested for open container and no SC drivers license after a black Honda was observed at a safety traffic checkpoint at Academy and Harper St. M. E. Simmons investigated.

May 24 – Dennis Lamar Ellenburg, 52, 101A Duckworth St,. Williamston reported someone attempted to pry open the door to the house he rents. Items including a Sears Craftsman tool tote box, a Dewalt drill, a ring of keys to the residence and vehicle were reported missing. The items were valued at $500. Sgt. D. W. Bryant investigated.

May 23 – Tommy Ellison, Greenville Street Car Wash, 12 E. Main St., Williamston, reported someone used 17 counterfeit $1 bills and 2 counterfeit $5 bills at the change machine at the location. The case was being referred to the U. S. Secret Service. Codes Officer J. Harris investigated.

May 27 – Noah Joseph Delatoba, 28, 218 E. Park #2 Ave., Greenville was arrested for driving under suspension after officers responded to 1099 Academy St., in reference to a child custody incident. Sgt. E. T. Hutchins investigated.

May 25 – Caroline Marie Vaughn, 42, 519-B Beaverdam Rd., Williamston was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia after a gray Oldsmobile was observed rolling through a stop sign. A pipe used for smoking crack was found in the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle was issued a warning for not stopping and a traffic ticket for driving under suspension. T. J. Richardson investigated.

May 25 – Jame Ottis Cook, 53, 15 Guy St., Pelzer was arrested for simple possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after a green Honda was observed at a traffic safety checkpoint at Jehue St,. and E. Carolina St. J. Rogers investigated.

May 26 – Stephen Xavier Williams, 20, 302 Trail Court, Anderson was arrested for outstanding warrants with the West Pelzer Police Department after a Lincoln Town Car was observed without the driver using a seat belt. The driver, Charles Alexander Williams, 18, 106 McAlister Rd., Willimaston, was issued a blue ticket for the seat belt violation and released at the scene. B. C. Kelley investigated.

May 29 – Jason Tyler Sweet, 23, 215 Mauldin St,. Williamston was arrested for public disorderly conduct after officers were dispatched to the address concerning a disturbance. L. E. Mulz, Sgt. D. W. Bryant investigated.

May 28 – Aiesha Nicole Greenlee, 21, 105 Gayland Dr., Anderson was arrested for driving under suspension after a red 2000 Volkswagen Jetta was observed on Greenville Dr., with the passenger side headlight not working. L. E. Mulz investigated.

May 24 – Joey Derrick Owen, 25, 212 Sherwood Dr., Belton was arrested for open container in a vehicle after officers responded to 207 West Main St. concerning a possible intoxicated driver. Sgt. K. J. Winn, Codes Ofc. J. Harris investigated.

May 24 – Michael Ray Madden, Jr. 40, 2407 Pope Dr., Anderson was arrested for nor proof of insurance, defective equipment and driving under suspension 2nd after a white car was observed on Main St. with no working taillights. L. E. Mulz investigated.
