SARAH DAVIDSON
Sarah Davidson of Simpsonville, died on Sunday, June 10, 2012 at McCall Hospice House in Simpsonville Born in Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Thelma Latimer Sherman.
Surviving are husband, Jack Davidson; sons, Trevor Davidson, Piedmont, and Shannon Davidson, Greenville; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; sisters, Yvonne Johnson, Gerrilene Gaines, and Freddie Pendergrass, all of Greenville.
Funeral service was held Saturday at Reedy River Missionary Baptist Church with burial in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery.

RON FOSTER
Kenneth Ronald Foster, 54, of Easley, died Sunday, June 17, 2012, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Anderson, he was a son of Bobbie Tollison Foster and the late Kenneth Franklin Foster.  He was formerly employed with Foster Meats.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by brother, Thomas Bradley Foster of Belton.
Graveside services were held Wednesday at Beaverdam Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family is at the home of his mother, 6009 Midway Road, Williamston.
Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

HORACE L. ROACH
Horace Lee Roach, 57, of Pickens, died Saturday June 16, 2012.
Born in Pickens County, he was the son of Floree Lesley Roach of Pickens and the late Harley Roach.
He was formerly employed at Total Fire Protection in Greenville and was a member of Cedar Rock Baptist Church.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a daughter, Kayla Adams of Williamston; a son, Nathan Roach of Easley; a stepdaughter, Sabrina Fuller of Easley; six grandchildren; four sisters, Nancy Poole, Frances Foster, Sue Kelley, and Debra Camp, all of Pickens; and two brothers, Harley Roach, Jr. and Danny Christopher Roach, both of Pickens.
Funeral services were held Monday at Blue Ridge View Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.

MARION GARY MULLINAX BANKS
Marion Gary Mullinax Banks, 63, wife of Arthur M. Banks of Anderson, died Thursday, June 7, 2012 at AnMed Health Medical Center.
Born in Anderson County, she was the daughter of the late Robert Theodore Sr. and Leila Savannah Smith Mullinax.
She retired as a legal assistant and was a member of 1st Christian Church of Anderson.
Surviving in addition to her husband of the home are: sons, Michael Banks and Stephen Libby, both of Belton; daughters, Stacey Pruitt of Belton and Patricia Evans of Inglis, FL; sister, Anne Mullinax Ray of Williamston; and nine grandchildren.
Memorial service was held Friday at Cox Funeral Home Chapel.

RONALD ‘RONNIE’ M. ALEXANDER
Ronald “Ronnie” Meredith Alexander, 65, of Greer, died June 14, 2012 at Alpha Health and Rehab.
Born in Greenville County, he was a son of the late Grady Livingston and Ruth Helen Horne Alexander.
He retired from Carotell Paper and was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of Faith Temple.
Surviving are his wife, Linda Smith Alexander of the home; son, John J. Alexander of Taylors; daughter, Ruth Ann Lindsey of Lyman; brother, David Alexander of Piedmont; sister, Rosemary Alexander of Greenville; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday at Faith Temple.  Burial followed in the church cemetery with military rites.

REV. C.H. McCARSON
Rev. C.H. “Mack” McCarson, 86, formerly of Piedmont, widow of Nellie Ellington McCarson, died Friday, June 15, 2012, at Richard Campbell V.A. Nursing Center.
Born in Laurens County, he was a son of the late Joseph Franklin and Minnie Lee Seay McCarson.  He was a WWII veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy.  Rev. McCarson pastored Southern Baptist churches in NC, LA, and several in SC.
Surviving are his son Sam McCarson of Piedmont; two daughters Joyce Parker of Travelers Rest, and Sara Spence of Lexington; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Monday at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Memorials may be made in Rev. McCarson’s memory to Richard Campbell VA Nursing Center, 4605 Belton Highway, Anderson, SC 29621.

MICHAEL LEE GRIST BORRY
Michael Lee Grist Borry, 36, died Wednesday, June 6, 2o12 in Henderson, NV.
He is survived by his parents, Richard W., Jr. and Margaret Borry of Taylors; brothers, Rick Borry of Dallas, TX and Cody Grist of Columbia; and sisters, Bethany Timmerman of Cookeville, TN, Tonya Stephens of Piedmont, Teresa Beckham of Henderson, NV, Joy Lukasiewicz of Dillon, CO, Melissa Henderson of Taylors and Lia Grist of Lynchburg, VA.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 23 at 2 p.m at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 1860 Reid School Road, Taylors.
Memorials may be made to the Greenville County Humane Society, 305 Airport Road, Greenville, SC 29607.

CAROL M. BROWNLEE
Carol Mims Brownlee, 65, of Greenville, died June 17, 2012.
Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late James R. and Alice Scoggins Mims.
She was employed at Kearns Corp. (later Sharp Business Systems.)
She is survived by her husband, Larry Brownlee; daughter, Robbin Brooks Gray of Easley; son, Walter Brooks of Fork Shoals; step-daughter, Julie Graham of Florence; two sisters, Helen Waldrop of Peachtree City, GA and Jean Allen of Cumming, GA; brother, Jimmy Mims of Piedmont; three grandchildren; and four step-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 21 at 3 p.m. at The Mackey Mortuary. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
The family will receive friends Thursday, 1:30 until 2:45 p.m. at the mortuary.

RANDOLPH ‘DOC’ SMITH
Randolph “Doc” Smith, 69, of Belton, widower of Mary Edna Cooley Smith, died Saturday, June 16, 2012 at his home.
Born in Greenville County, he was a son of the late Bennie and Reba Lee Mann Smith.  He was retired from Triangle Construction.
Surviving are daughter, Linda Smith Rogers of Gaffney; sisters, Leola Hooper of Munford, AL, Mary Jeans of Ware Shoals, Martha Neely of Honea Path; three grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 1-2:30 pm Thursday, June 21, 2012 at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer.
Graveside services will follow at 3 pm Thursday in Beech Springs Tabernacle Cemetery.
The family is at the home of Mary Jeans, 4 1/2 N. Greenwood Ave., Ware Shoals.
