Anderson County Roads and Bridges Department will close a portion of Joe Black Road west of West Pelzer, SC on August 6, 2012 to replace a damaged bridge with a large box culvert. The roadway will be closed between New Hope Road and SC 8, and is scheduled to re-open by October 1, 2012.
The posted detour will follow New Hope Road and SC 8. Only adjacent residents and delivery vehicles will be permitted within the road closure area.
