Williamston Police Officers investigated the theft of farm equipment, campaign signs, hand tools and other items last week. Among incidents investigated were: July 26 – Joshua Scott Fetter, 24, 109 Sheila Dr., Williamston was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, bench warrant service and driving under suspension after a truck was observed on Academy St.

A passenger in the vehicle, James Brian Cooper, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for failure to pay a traffic ticket.. Lt. T. A. Striss investigated.

July 16 – Shannon Marie Zatorsky, 21, 417 Conner Blvd., Piedmont was arrested for defective equipment and operating uninsured and improper vehicle license after a silver Dodge Magnum was observed on Main St. with tail lights not working. The tag on the vehicle was for a Kia Optima. L. E. Mulz investigated.

July 23 – Thena Kaye Jackson, 50, 110 Parker St., reported items valued at $1,100 removed from her backyard. Sgt. K. J. Winn investigated.

July 23 – Gerald Thomas Rich, Jr. reported a toolbox containing assorted hand tools removed from covered truck bed. The items were valued at $550. Sgt. K. J. Winn investigated.

July 23 – Phillip Clardy, 40, 106 W. Fourth St., reported two campaign signs removed from two locations in the town. The signs were valued at $45. Lt. T. A. Striss investigated.

July 24 – Sherry Lynn Kelly, 38, 4 E 2nd St., Williamston reported a purse with items valued at $40 missing. The purse is black with dolphins on it. Lt. T. A. Striss investigated.

July 25 – Timothy Ray Leonard, 44, 1143 Broadway Lake Rd., Belton and Edwin Laur, no other information provided, was placed on trespass notice for 2 N. Hamilton St,. after causing a disturbance at the business. Sgt. E. T. Hutchins investigated.

July 29 – Antonio Jose Tomas, 27, 617 W. Main St., Williamston was arrested for public disorderly conduct after being observed walking on Gossett St. L. E. Mulz investigated.

July 28 – Sara C Kerwin, 61, 103 S Academy St,. Williamston reported someone came into her backyard and turned on water sprinklers. Sgt. K. J. Winn investigated.

July 29 – Williamston officers assisted West Pelzer police department with the arrest of an individual who had violent priors. Sgt. K. J. Winn investigated.

July 27 – Edwin Morris Bell, Sr., 58, 103 Florence St., Calhoun Falls was arrested for an outstanding bench warrant after the Iva Police Department notified WPD that they had him in custody. M. E. Simmons investigated.

July 27 – Rudolph Pressley, 65, 3 Washington St., Williamston reported a portion of chain link fence knocked down causing $200 in damage. Sgt. SRO L. D. Ritter investigated.

July 29 – Micheal Lane Lacount, 33, 675 Mayfield School Rd., Belton was arrested for failure to register tag and driving under suspension after a black Chevrolet Tahoe was observed on Greenville Dr., without a proper tag. A passenger in the vehicle was issued a courtesy summons for not wearing a seatbelt. L. E. Mulz investigated.

July 30 – Calvin Ervin Owens, 67, 505 Canterbury St., Simpsonville reported a bush hog cutaway harrow valued at $600 removed from 123 Mattison Dr., in Williamston. J. Rogers investigated.
