Greenville County Schools urge early registrationParents with children entering Greenville County Schools for the first time are encouraged to register him or her now, before the opening day of school on Wednesday, August 22.
To determine where your child will attend school, call INFOLine at 864-355-3100 or link to the Find Your School section of the GCS website.
Children who will be five years old on or before September 1 of this year must enroll in public or private kindergarten, unless the parent or legal guardian signs a waiver. Any child who will be six years old on or before September 1 of this year must enroll in first grade.
To enroll a new student in kindergarten or first grade, a parent must present the following at registration: A state-issued birth certificate; properly completed immunization certificate or religious exemption certificate, and proof of residence (at least 2 documents)
Breakfast prices are: $1 daily or $5 weekly. Lunch prices are: $2.10 daily or $10.50 weekly.
School Hours are:
4K Full Day – 8 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Elementary, Grades 5K – 5th – 8 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Middle, Grades 6 – 8 – 8:30 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.
High, Grades 9 – 12 – 8:45 a.m. – 3:45 p.m.
