Woodmont High I.D. Day and orientation Aug. 14

Woodmont High will hold orientation and I.D. Day for all Freshmen and new students last names A-K on Tuesday, August 14 and students last names L-Z on Wednesday, August 15.

Students must come to the WHS Media Center to have I.D. pictures taken. The I.D.s will be given to students at orientation on Aug. 20.

Upperclassmen will receive their new I.D. (which is free) during their orientation day anytime between 3:30 and 6:30 p.m.

Orientation Day – For All Students will be held:

Grade 12 – Monday, August 20 – Anytime between 8:30 – 11:30 a.m.

Grade 11 – Monday, August 20 – Anytime between 12:30 – 3:30 p.m.

Grade 10 – Tuesday, August 21 – Anytime between 8:30 – 11:30 a.m.

All returning upperclassmen students will pick up a new I.D. on orientation day. Freshmen and new students, who had an I.D. picture taken on an I.D. day, may also pick up their new I.D.

A student without I.D. will not be allowed to continue with orientation.

Yearbook pictures will be taken for all students (except Seniors) – student attire must follow the district dress code guidelines.

All 9th grade students are required to report at their designated times. Parents are encouraged to attend with their student. (Please see the information above to learn when I.D. pictures will be taken prior to Orientation.)

Grade 9 – Monday, August 20

5:30 – 6:30 p.m. – Last names A-F*

6:30 – 7:30 p.m. – Last names G-M*

7:30 – 8:30 p.m. – Last names N-Z*

Orientation times reflect how long orientation will be open. Actual time to complete the process is about 30 minutes, depending on how long the lines are, school officials said.
