This is Week One of fall sports, namely football, and the new SPORTS EXTRA focuses on all four local high school teams this week with Palmetto vs. Powdersville and Wren vs. Woodmont. In this week’s issue, sports fans will find Pre-Game Previews on both games, a story on area Coaches, and other information.
The Journal SPORTS EXTRA will have the Area’s Best Coverage of High School Sports for all four area schools including the Palmetto Mustangs, Wren Hurricanes, Powdersville Patriots and Woodmont Wildcats.
Coverage will include 11 weeks of fall sports beginning this week with Week One.
Included are game pictures, weekly game preview, game of the week feature, player of the week, high school and college game predictions by The Sideline Shadow and more!
JV and C-Teams and Cheerleaders will be featured in future editions.
The SPORTS EXTRA will be available FREE each week at many local businesses and will be included in the print edition of The Journal each week.
