Williamston Police Officers investigated the following:

Sept. 21- A parent of a 13 year old female student reported that a student from another school had pulled a knife on her daughter at the football game on Friday. According to reports, the incident began on Facebook and the suspect, reported as a 14 year old male, tried several times to fight with the victim’s boyfriend. SGT/SROL. D. Ritter investigated.

Sept. 25 – Kenneth Allen McCall, 25, 404 Roger Bolt Rd., Belton was arrested for driving under suspension, operating uninsured vehicle and possession of a suspended license after a vheicle was observed at a license checkpoint at Mauldin St. and Cherokee Rd. Lt. T. A. Striss investigated.

Sept. 21 – Tabitha Renee Fortune, 19, 106 Brookview Cr., Pelzer reported a green color SUV had turned in front of her at the intersection of Greenville Dr. and N. Hamilton St. and that the front of her vehicle collided with the passenger side of the SUV, which then left the scene. D. M. Stipe investigated.

Sept. 27 – Officers investigated a report of shot fired in the vicinity of Market St., and Cross St. They were unable to locate anyone or hear any shots. J. Rogers investigated.

Sept. 26 – Rite Aid, 201 E. Main St,. Williamston reported a shoplifting incident in which several boxes of fixadent denture adhesive was taken by an unknown older female. The female left with a black male in a green four door Ford. The items were valued at $46. Sgt. K. J. Winn investigated.

Sept. 26 – Dominick Xavier Brownlee, 18, 142 G St. Williamston was arrested for assault and battery (3rd) following a fight incident at Palmetto High School, 804 N. Hamilton St., Williamston. According to reports Brownlee was issued a ticket and released to his father. Both students are facing five days of suspension. SGT./ SGO L. D. Ritter investigated.
