Clemson Football Coach Dabo Swinney will be the guest speaker for The Anderson Area Touchdown Club annual banquet on February 27.
For the past 31 years, the Anderson Area Touchdown Club has honored players and coach of the week from the eight Anderson County high schools and the Player of the Year Awards will be selected from this outstanding group of football players.
Awards will be presented to the outstanding Offensive player of the year, Defensive player of the year, Lineman of the year, outstanding scholastic player, and the Anderson County Coach of the year.
The annual awards banquet will be held at The Civic Center of Anderson. The public is invited. Ticket prices are $15 which includes a meal. The food line will open at 6:30pm and the meeting will start at 7 pm. Call Nancy Smith at 864/226-7380 or Bill Brissey at 864/934-2423 for reservations.
