Anderson County Sheriff’s Office Investigators are asking help in finding a person they have identified as a suspect believed to be the man posing as a Duke Energy employee in order to scam and steal from elderly victims. The scam has taken place in Honea Path, Piedmont and Pendleton. Investigators have identified Jimmy Gerard Sherlock (49 YOA) who has lived in both Anderson and North Augusta areas in S.C.
Sherlock was last seen driving a 1999 Dodge Ram 1500, red in color, bearing South Carolina license plate IGY460. Investigators are asking for assistance in locating Sherlock. Investigators have not yet identified second male subject involved in these burglaries.
Anyone who may have information about Sherlock’s whereabouts is asked to call (864)-260-4400 or Crimestoppers at 888-CRIMESC (274-6372). Crimestoppers will offer a reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction of those responsible.
