EZELL MCNEELY SCHRONCE
Ezell McNeely Schronce, 97, widower of Mary Virginia Duncan Schronce, formerly of Belton, died Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013 at Omega Health and Rehab of Greenville.
Born in Lincoln County, NC, he was the son of the late William Pinkney and Gussie Emma Nance Schronce. He was a member of Austin Road Baptist Church in Honea Path.
Surviving are sons Steve Schronce of Belton, David Schronce of Lyman, Arthur Schronce of Williamston, and Allen Schronce of Belton; daughter, Jane Gillespie of Belton; ten grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at Cox Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

DONNA SPEARS
Donna Spears, 57, of Pelzer, died Tuesday, February 18, 2013.
Born in Japan, she was the daughter of George Ray and Joan Bennett Arthur.
Surviving are a daughter, Michelle Lewis; and two sisters, Stacey Quinn and Tisa Strawhorn.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, February 21, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Tanglewood Baptist Church.

RUSH CALVIN LITTLE, JR.
Rush Calvin Little, Jr., 62, of Greenville, died on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Geenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Greenville, he was the son of the late Rush Calvin Little, Sr. and Ellen Cohen Hunt.
Surviving are daughters, L’Oreal Tillman of GA, April Thomas of Mauldin, Regina Little of the home, and Tomasina Little-Purry of Greenville; son, Rush Calvin Little, III of Taylors; sisters, Ruby Billie and Helena Williams, both of Greenville and Melinda Garrett of Travelers Rest; brothers, John Little of Piedmont and William Little of Baltimore, MD.
Funeral service will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Water of Life Church with burial in Greenville Memorial Gardens.

DEBRA DAVIS
Debra Elaine Pepper Davis, 61, of Piedmont, wife of Stanley Wayne Davis, died Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at Doctors Hospital in Augusta, GA.
Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of Eudora Propes Moore, of Greenville, and the late Wayne Dwight Pepper.  She was a homemaker and attended Living Sanctuary Church in Piedmont.
In addition to her husband and her mother, she is survived by sons, Stanley Shawn Davis, and Anthony Alan Davis of Piedmont; siblings, Dwight Pepper of Piedmont, Donna Bowen of Easley, Marty Pepper of Greenville, and Jan Dial of Piedmont; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, February 23 at Living Sanctuary Church. Burial followed at Greenville Memorial Gardens.

WILLIE GARRISON
PIEDMONT – Willie Deck Garrison, 89, widow of Bert Oscar Garrison, died Friday, February 22, 2013 at her home.
Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Henry Grady and Bessie Jordan Deck.  She retired from Park Place Mattress Co. (formerly Orders Mattress) after 48 years of service.  She was a member of Life Journey Church (formerly Pelzer Wesleyan) where she formerly served as a board member and in various other capacities.
Surviving are daughter, Nancy Greer of Piedmont; sons, Charles Garrison (Judy) of Piedmont, Bert Garrison (Gale) of Easley; sister, Jean Martin of Greenwood; four granddaughters; nine great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Natasha Greer.
Visitation was held from 7:00 – 8:30 pm Monday, February 25, 2013 at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer.
Funeral services were 3:00 pm Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at Life Journey Church.
Burial followed in Greenville Memorial Gardens.

BOBBIE BALDWIN
PELZER—Bobbie J. Baldwin, 71, formerly of Pelzer, died Friday, February 22, 2013, at Hosanna Health and Rehab.
Born in Simpsonville, SC, he was a son of the late Robert Thomas Bolden and Frances Garrett Bolden Dickerson. He was formerly employed by Ford Motor Company in California and was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
Surviving are sons Bobbie Eugene Baldwin of California and Robert Thomas Baldwin of Pelzer; daughter Ashlee Baldwin Heintze of Clemson; brothers Jerry Bolden of Belton and Michael Bolden of Pelzer; sister Peggy Heatherly of Pelzer; and grandson Noah Burgess.
Visitation was Monday from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Gray Mortuary. Funeral services were held at 3:00 p.m. Monday in the mortuary chapel. Burial followed at Greenville Memorial Gardens.

MARLEEN JONES
Marleen Bishop Jones, 66, of Piedmont, wife of Joel Douglas Jones, died Saturday, February 23, 2013, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Chattanooga, TN, she was a daughter of the late Fred Milton and Vivian Brown Bishop.  She was a homemaker and a member of Piedmont Heights Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband of the home, she is survived by her daughters Robbie Jones Bradberry of Easley and Kimberly Jones Chasteen of Piedmont; twin sister Eileen B. Lollis of Piedmont; brother John Thompson of Piedmont; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at Piedmont Heights Baptist Church.

SARAH JOSEPHINE ‘MAMA JO’ SHUBERT
CHEDDAR—Our loving mama, of the Cheddar Community, passed away February 23, 2013, at Magnolia Place in Simpsonville at the age of 89. Our mama loved us and we loved her fiercely. She taught us to love God and each other. She was our role model.
Born in Belton, SC, she was a daughter of the late James Matt and Rachel Kathleen Smith Cooley. She retired from Anderson School District One. A member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church, she was a long time children’s Sunday School teacher.
Surviving are her daughters Mrs. Doug Smith (Dale), of Donalds, Mrs. Van Leopard (Debbie) of the Cheddar Community, and Mrs. Robert Irwin (Kathy) of the Cheddar Community; sister Mrs. Joyce Clardy of the Cheddar Community; three grandchildren Mrs. Brad Cary (Tonya) of Simpsonville; Mr. Daniel Leopard and his wife Vanessa of the Cheddar Community; and Mrs. Keith Hill (Rachel) of Columbia; and five great-grandchildren Katherine, Christian, and Travis Cary of Simpsonville; Cothran and EraBoyd Leopard of the Cheddar Community.
Private family memorial services will be held at Mama Jo’s Pond.

DON CHASTAIN
Don Marshall Chastain, 64, husband of Debbie Holliday Chastain, died February 20, 2013.
He was born in Greenville to the late Clay Chastain and Hazel Timms Chastain. He retired from Michelin.
Surviving in addition to his wife are son, Kevin Marshall Chastain; daughter, Darla Chastain Bryant, both of Piedmont; five grandchildren; brother, James Chastain of Piedmont; and sister, Dot Chastain Jones of Greenville.
He was a member of Marathon Church of Powdersville and a volunteer firefighter at Wren Fire Department.
Funeral services were held Sunday, February 24 in the funeral home chapel of Gray Mortuary, Pelzer. Burial followed in Greenville Memorial Gardens.

LEONA M. JOY
Leona M. Joy, 93, of Piedmont, widow of Thomas Eugene Joy, died Monday, February 25, 2013.
Born in Flag Pond, TN, she was a daughter of the late Elridge Nelson and Elizabeth Hensley McIntosh.
She retired from Stone Manufacturing and was a founding member of Unity Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by daughters, Michael Marcou of Mauldin, Linda Baehl of Williamston, and Lisa Helmuth of Attalla, AL; son, Thomas L. Joy of Piedmont; ten grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Thursday, February 28 from 1 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. Funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery West.
Memorials may be made  to Shepherd’s Care Center, LLC, 2100 North Pleasantburg Drive, Greenville, SC 29609.

JAMES RIDGEWAY
WILLIAMSTON – James Pelham Ridgeway, 84, husband of Lois Porter Ridgeway, died Monday, February 25, 2013 at his home.
Born in Laurens County, he was a son of the late James Casper and Nellie Roberson Ridgeway.  He was a retired prison guard with Anderson County and a Baptist.  He was also a U.S. Army veteran.
Surviving in addition to his wife are daughter, Cathy Ridgeway of Williamston; sons, James Ridgeway and William  Ridgeway, both of Williamston; seven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; sisters, Onie Martin, Gladys Maddox, Ann Seigler; brother, Ray Ridgeway.
He was predeceased by a son, David Ridgeway; sisters, Ethel O’Dell, Julia Traynham; one great grandchild.
Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 am Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer.
Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jimmie Farmer, Rev. W. Christopher Huff, and Rev. Josh Taylor officiating.  Burial will be in Beaverdam Baptist Church Cemetery.

PATRICIA MAULDIN MOORE
PIEDMONT – Patricia Mauldin Moore, 78, of 504 Moore Rd., wife of Lindy Moore, passed away Tuesday morning, February 26, 2013 at her home.
Born August 8, 1934 in Anderson County, she was the daughter of the late Sam and Elizabeth Spearman Mauldin. Mrs. Moore retired from Michelin and was a member of Mountain Springs Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband of fifty one years, she is survived by her brother, Sam Mauldin and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Benjamin Smoak and Rev. Lamar McAbee officiating.

LEONARD KELLY
PELZER – Leonard Sidney Kelly, 85, of 150 Kelly Rd., widower of Lillian Ballenger Kelly, died Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at his home.
Born in Greenville County, he was a son of the late Sidney Cleo and Ozelle Cooley Kelley.  He was retired from Delta Woodside in Piedmont and a WWII veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Surviving are daughters, Patsy Cothran (Don) of Fountain Inn, Debbie Paxton (Earl) of Pelzer; sons, Danny Kelly (Ann), Charles Kelly (Yvonne), Mark Kelly (Ruth), all of Pelzer; sisters, Elder MaGaha, Barbara Stroud, Betty Stroud, all of Pelzer, Dareen Coker and Brenda Cothran, both of Belton, Judy Baldwin of Williamston; brothers, Jim, Bobby, Roger, Ronnie Kelley, all of Pelzer; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Janice Kelly; grandson, Neil Cothran; brothers, Alfred, Gerald, and Wilton Kelley.
Visitation was held from 7:00-8:30 pm Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Eastview Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Fuller officiating.  Burial will follow in Beech Springs Cemetery.

ROBERT LEE ROGERS
PIEDMONT – Robert Lee Rogers, 87, of 139 New Cut Rd., widower of Lillian Luther Rogers, died Tuesday, February 26, 2013.
Born in Piedmont, he was a son of the late George Lewis and Lillie Mae Fowler Rogers.  He was retired from Milliken and a member of Life Church in Piedmont.  He was also a U.S. Naval veteran.
Surviving are daughters, Teresa Wynn (Norman) of Piedmont, Nancy Minard (Mike) of Chickasha, OK; daughter-in-law, Jane Gautier of Piedmont; five grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a son, Curtis Gautier; daughter, Gloria Jane Rogers; brother, Harold Rogers.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-7:30 pm Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer.
Funeral services will be 2:30 pm Friday, March 1, 2013 at Life Church with Pastor David Larke officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
