JOHN E. MOORE, BOBBY McPEAK, MIKE JACKSON, LOUISE PARKER, MILDRED KEOWN  MCBRIDE, SARA ELIZABETH ALEXANDER RAIDEN

JOHN E. MOORE
Johnie Earl Moore, 72, husband of Carolyn Spence Moore, of Anderson, died at his home on Tuesday, April 30, 2013.
Born in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late Robert L. Moore and the late Winnie Lou Shipman Moore.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and retired as a refrigeration maintenance technician.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, John E. Moore, Jr. of Williamston; two daughters, Debbie Moore of Williamston and Susie Simmons of Anderson; one brother, Gene Moore of Spartanburg; two sisters, Hazel Wilson of Spartanburg and Reba Cookson of Inman; ten grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Memorial service was held Friday, May 3 at the chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home.

BOBBY McPEAK
Robert Marshall “Bobby” McPeak, Sr., 77, died on Saturday, April 27, 2013.
He is survived by three sons and daughters, Robert M. McPeak, Jr. of Greenville, Donald E. McPeak of Travelers Rest, Charles F. McPeak of Greenville, Cynthia A. McPeak of Greenville, Betty Jo Massey of Greenville, and Angie Cooper of Piedmont; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Joyce Brown of Greenville.
A private memorial service will be held.

MIKE JACKSON
GREER – Clarence Michael “Mike” Jackson, 53, died May 1, 2013 at his home.
A native of Columbia, Tennessee, son of Mary L. Williams Jackson of Pelzer and the late C.B. Jackson, he was a retired employee of Upstate Trucking and a member of White Plains Baptist Church.
Also surviving are his wife, Connie Lister Jackson of the home; a special aunt, Mary Ann Gambrell of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee; and his special pet, Boo Boo.
Mr. Jackson was predeceased by a brother, Thomas V. Jackson.
Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Saturday at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Ray Hatcher and Rev. Tim Huckaby. Burial followed in White Plains Baptist Church Cemetery, Pelzer.
Visitation was held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday at The Wood Mortuary.
The family is at the home.

LOUISE PARKER
Mary Louise McCoy Parker, 91, formerly of West Pelzer, widow of Scott Parker, died Wednesday, May 1, 2013.
Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late James E. and Emma Ellison McCoy Elliott.  She was retired from J.P. Stevens Estes plant.  She was a member of West Pelzer Baptist Church.
Surviving are daughters, Sandra Parker Page of Fountain Inn, Elizabeth L. Parker Lawley of Huntsville, AL; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sister, Minnie Iola Tripp of Hickory Tavern.
Visitation was held Friday, May 3, at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer.
Funeral services were held Saturday, May 4, at West Pelzer Baptist Church. Burial followed in White Plains Baptist Church Cemetery, Pelzer.

MILDRED KEOWN  MCBRIDE
Mildred Colleen Keown McBride, 78, of Anderson, died Friday, May 3, 2013 at the Rainey Hospice House.
Born in Anderson County, she was the daughter of the late Myron M. Keown and Eunice Perrin Keown Parris. She retired as a church secretary and was a member of River of Life Church of God.
Surviving are her husband, Louie H. McBride of the home; son, Michael H. McBride of Simpsonville; two daughters, Nancy McBride Arrington of Statesboro, GA, and Kathy McBride Willis of Manassas, VA; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; five brothers, Herman Keown of Starr, Talmadge Keown, Albert Keown, James Keown and Frank Keown, all of Anderson; four sisters, Dorothy Hayes, Barbara Burroughs, Sue Carnes, all of Anderson, and Linda Dorn of Pelzer.
Funeral services were held Sunday at Sullivan-King Mortuary Chapel. Entombment followed in Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.

SARA ELIZABETH ALEXANDER RAIDEN
Sara Elizabeth Alexander Raiden, 87, of Greenville, widow of Wylie Rufus Raiden, died Monday, May 6, 2013.
Born in Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late David Mack and May Alexander.
She retired from Stone Manufacturing and attended services at the Salvation Army and Judson Baptist.
She is survived by children, Bobbie Sammons of Greenville, Samuel Raiden of Greenville, Patricia Weathers of Greenville, Carolyn Perkins of Williamston, and Randy Raiden of Easley; 22 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was held Wednesday, May 8 at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest Chapel. Burial followed in Graceland West Cemetery.
