Grilling for Pig in the Park

Ken Scales of Smokin’ Grill from Williamston prepares barbecue to sell on Friday during the Pig in the Park Barbecue Festival and Cookoff. The event runs from noon – 9 p.m. on Friday and with judging for the competition on Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. Wrist bands will be available for $10 all-you-can-eat samples of the competitors barbecue. Presentation of awards will be at 1 p.m. Food, entertainment and vendors will ongoing both days.
