At 11:13 a.m. Saturday morning, the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office received a call regarding a small airplane crash in the area of Aeronca Road and Oak Hill Road in Southern Greenville County.
Once deputies arrived on scene they located the small airplane in a field across from Oak Hill Air Park. The airplane was occupied by two males who had just taken off from the air park.
Both occupants were transported to Greenville Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Investigators with the FAA have been called in to conduct the investigation regarding the crash.
