Graduation ceremonies Thursday – Palmetto High

Graduation services for Palmetto High seniors will be held at 10 a.m. June 6 at LittleJohn Coliseum in Clemson.

Participating in the Palmetto High School graduation program will be Honor Grad Martin Elizabeth Brooks who will lead the Pledge of Allegiance and the Senior Singers will present the National Anthem. Honor Grad Jennifer Lynn Wagner will give the invocation. Honor Grad Carson Mikell Heatherly will welcome guests.

Salutatorian Halee Ann Bryant will give her student address which will be followed by a choral presentation and student address by Valedictorian Jonathan McAlister Ferguson.

Principal Ray Callaham will introduce Platform guests which will include Palmetto High and District One Administrators and members of the Anderson School District One Board.

Board Chairman Fred Alexander, Superintendent Dr. Wayne Fowler, Principal Callaham, Assistant Principal Mike Kelly and Assistant Principal Robert Roach will present dipomas. Principal Callaham will confirm graduates.

Closing remarks will be made by Honor Grad Victoria Ruth Williams. Caitlyn Marie Low will pronounce the benediction.

Persons attending graduation services are reminded to refrain from loud expressions of pleasure for individual graduates because they detract from the recognition due to the next graduate in line. School officials remind family and friends of graduates that persons who are disruptive during the ceremony will be escorted from the coliseum.
