During a recent investigation, Anderson County Sheriff’s Deputies discovered that two people observed in the home of a 93 year old Piedmont resident were also involved in several burglaries in the Piedmont and Powdersville areas. On June 13, the elderly Piedmont resident observed an intruder in her home.

Sheriff’s Office Detectives Gene Culbertson and Kreig Marzolf took over the case and discovered that the suspects, Traci Lynn Albertson, and her boyfriend, BJ Carrano were involved in several burglaries in the Powdersville and Piedmont area of Anderson County.

Seventeen arrest warrants have been signed on Albertson, Carrano, and a Ravyn Kelley. Furniture, antiques, and jewelry have been recovered by Detectives Marzolf and Culbertson and Forensic Investigators Ben Dugan and Chris Pridemore.

Most property came after a search warrant was executed at 109 Wilson Way in Piedmont.

The owners of all of the recovered property have been identified and notified, investigators said. Value of the recovered property is estimated at several thousand dollars.

“Due to diligent teamwork and quality investigative work, these officers have halted a serious criminal element in Anderson County,” Anderson County Sheriff John Skipper said.
