The Pelzer Heritage Commission will meet Monday, September 9 in the Community Building behind BiLo from 10am-2pm.
The meeting will be the final editing for the upcoming Pelzer Tales Book series “Honoring our Military Heroes”. The book consists of stories and information on local Veterans dating back to the Revolutionary War.
The book is scheduled for publication by September 25 and will available at ERS Radio Shack in Williamston and members of the Pelzer Heritage Commission. Funds will be used for a Veteran’s Memorial which will be placed in the park area located on Hwy 20.
All papers, pictures and otheritems that were loaned to the Pelzer Heritage Commission for the book can be picked up during this meeting, a spokesperson said.
