SINCLAIR B. HACKETT
Sinclair B. Hackett, 96, of Anderson, died September 18, 2013 at the Rainey Hospice House.
Born in Buckingham County, VA, he was son of the late Basil and Susie Hackett.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from Driggs Construction Company.
He was a member of Union Church.
He is survived by his wife, Viola; four children, Sinclair Morris Hackett of Conway, Roy Basil Hackett of Sulphur, OK, Linda Diane Parker of Anderson, and Margaret Inez Wilson of Williamston; 11 grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was held Saturday, Sept. 21 in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home. Interment followed at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.

CAROLYN M. COLLINS
Carolyn M. Collins, 49, died Monday, September 16, 2013.
She is survived by two children, Jody Hale and Tamra Stevens; eight grandchildren; and three step-daughters.
Funeral services were held Saturday  at Church of God Prophecy Restoration Chapel.

LISA ADRAGNA MIZE
Lisa Michele Adragna Mize, 48, of Pelzer, wife of John William Mize, died Thursday, September 19, 2013 at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.
Born in Dearborn, MI, she was the daughter of Frank Joseph Adragna, Sr., of Williamston, and the late Linda Rochelle Satterfield Adragna. She attended Calvary Baptist Church in Williamston.
Surviving in addition to her husband and her father, are children, Ashlyn and Seth; brothers, Michael Adragna, and Frankie Adragna; and five grandchildren.
The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 22 at the funeral home chapel of Gray Mortuary, Pelzer with entombment following at Memory Gardens in Clemson.

WILLIAM FRANK REVIS
January 31, 1976 – September 12, 2013
William Frank Revis passed away at his home in Chicago on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at the age of 37.
William is predeceased by his father, Mitchell Reed Revis.
William is survived by his loving partner of seven years with whom he shared a home, Valerie Ann Curtis, and his mother, Dorothy Feltman Revis, of Pelzer, South Carolina. William is affectionately remembered by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
William was born in Anderson, South Carolina, and grew up in nearby Pelzer. He graduated from Palmetto School in 1994, and and went on to earn a bachelors degree at Clemson University. He enjoyed taking political science and urban planning classes at the University of Illinois Chicago where he had also worked for seven years, most recently in the Office of the Vice Chancellor.
William was passionate about social issues and politics, and actively campaigned for the Democratic Party and its candidates. He had a gift for computers and information technology, and was skilled at a wide range of engineering feats from building custom bicycles to restoring classic furniture pieces to watchmaking.
He loved every single thing about his beloved city of Chicago where had lived since 2003.
Arrangements are being handled by Lakeview Funeral Home, 1458 W. Belmont Ave., Chicago, IL 60657. (773) 472-6300. Friends and family led a graveside service at the historic Graceland Cemetery, 4001 N. Clark Street, Chicago, at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 19, 2013. A reception followed at Deluxe Bar and Grill, 669 N. Milwaukee Avenue from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

PATTI JUANITA JONES SMITH
Patti Juanita Jones Smith, 54, died September 15, 2013.
Born in Anderson, she was a daughter of Robert Lee, Jr. and Eva Juanita Lollis Jones.
Surviving are three children, Amanda Spence of Piedmont, Tyson Smith of IN, and Leslie Flowers of NC; six grandchildren; two sisters, and two brothers, Tana, Vickie, Dirk, and Jim.

CAROLYN ANN LANGEN
Carolyn Ann Langen, 52, of Anderson, died Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013 at her home.
Born in Chattanooga, TN, she was the daughter of William Arthur Bay and the late Betty Ruth Bay.
She was employed at NHC in Anderson and was a member of NewSpring Church in Anderson.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband, Anthony Langen; three sons, Danny Ray Ratledge of Madisonville, TN, George Ernest Langden of Anderson and Adam Anthony Langen of Columbia; daughter, Veronica Wynn of Pelzer; three sisters, Geneva Raye Bell of Pelzer, Christine Chaplian of Byesville, OH, and Kimberly McSkimming of Ashtabula, OH; and six grandchildren.
Funeral service was held Monday, Sept. 23 in the chapel of the McDougald Funeral Home.

WALTER RONALD BURTON
“Nick” Walter Ronald Burton, 74, of Piedmont, husband of Jane Kellett Burton, died Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Greenville Memorial Medical Center.
Born in Greensboro, NC, he was a son of the late Henry Harold Burton and Cophine Gates Hicks.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and retired from Blanchard Machinery.
He was a member of Marathon Community Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Mike Burton of Simpsonville and Scott Burton of Piedmont; and five grandchildren.
Funeral service was held Tuesday, Sept. 24 in the Downtown Chapel of Thomas McAfee Funeral Home. Burial followed in Greenville Memorial Gardens.

CAROLYN ANN LANGEN
Carolyn Ann Langen, 52, of Anderson, died Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013 at her home.

ESTHER FARENKOPF KEENE
Esther Farenkopf Keene, 92, of Piedmont, widow of Donald Willis Keene, died September 10, 2013.
Born in East Texas, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles Lewis and Laura Hollstine Farenkopf. She was a homemaker and a member of Bessie Road Baptist Church.
Surviving are son, Gordon Edward Keene (Wanda) of Pelzer, daughter, Barbara Ann Fenten (William); five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday, September 22 at Bessie Road Baptist Church. Burial was in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
