The Pelzer Heritage Commission announced the arrival of its latest book, Pelzer Tales: A Salute to Our Military Veterans. Copies may be obtained from Commission members, ERS in Williamston, and at the Holiday Fair in Pelzer on November 23rd. The book covers veterans of all US wars and conflicts.
The book sells for $40 each. To obtain a book, contact Richard Bruce at 864-243-4305, Dianne Lollis at 864-847-5743, Larry Joe Coker at 864-245-9120 or any local Commission Member. Those wishing to order a book by mail should talk with a Commission member for shipping details.
The books will also be available at the Pelzer Holiday Fair on Sat. Nov. 23. Also being offered at the Holiday Fair will be “It’s a Pelzer thing” bookmarks for $1.
The Commission wishes to thank all who contributed to the success of the book and invites all veterans or their family members who did not make it into this book to share their information for future books and publications.
The mission of the Pelzer Heritage Commission is to gather, collect, and preserve our heritage for future generations.
