Piedmont firefighters work to extinguish a camper fire Sunday night on South Circle Drive. Initially it was thought the occupant was inside but he had escaped the flames. Pelzer EMS stood by as a precaution while firefighters battled the blaze. The camper was a total loss. (Photo by David Rogers)
