An officer patroling the area a while later spotted the red truck. Upon investigation, a black vehicle with two occpants was sitting in the driveway of the same residence, Cole said. When the offcer went to talk to the two occupants, one yelled go and the car backed into the officer, Cole said.

The officer did get out of the way and fired his weapon striking Crane one time, according to Cole. Crane was transported to Greenville Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening wound.
