The names of three victims of a triple homicide shooting in Pelzer have been released.
Victims are Wanda Anderson, 40, of Pelzer, Victor Vandegrift, 48, of Columbia, and Hank Eaton, 32, of Pelzer.
The name of a fourth victim who was injured during the incident but managed to get to a neighbors house for help has not been made public.
Anderson County Sheriff’s investigators have taken Jared Michael Williams, WM, age 34, into custody following the triple homicide shooting around 2:45 Wednesday on Law Street in Pelzer.
Williams was injured during a motor vehicle collision resulting from a high speed chase that involved deputies from both Anderson and Greenville Counties. He was transported to Greenville Memorial Hospital. According to authorities, his injuries are relatively minor and he is expected to be released from the hospital Thursday.
Arrest warrants have not yet been obtained regarding this incident but should be served on the suspect Thursday, according to Lt. Sheila B. Cole, Public Information Officer with the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office.
The investigation is on-going.
