Williamston Police Officers investigated the following incidents:

Mar. 4 – Dawn Gail Horne, 50, 210 Lois Ln Waterloo, SC was arrested for no registration, no SC drivers license and no proof of insurance after a vehicle was observed on East Main St. with only one operating headlight. Cpl. L. E. Mulz, J. Rogers investigated.

Mar. 5 – Sarina Heard, 43, 21 W. Caroline St., Williamston was arrested for operating an uninsured vehicle and wrong tag on vehicle after a green Ford Explorer was observed making a quick turn into the Sav-Way parking lot when the business was closed. Cpl. L. E. Mulz, J. Rogers investigated.

Mar. 4 – Roger Dale McClellion, 41, 108 L St., Williamston reported $16 taken from a wallet. G. Cremer, Sgt. K. J. Winn investigated.

Mar. 5 – Robert Paul Coupie, 44, 156 E. First St., Williamston reported a simple assault in which a neighbor grabbed his throat. Officers were to contact the city judge about an arrest warrant. The incident remains under investigation. G. Cremer, Sgt. K. J. Winn investigated.

Mar. 6 – Jamie Crawford, 33, 236 Belton Dr., Williamston reported an IPhone valued at $175 and a bag with two checks totaling $50 taken from an unlocked Chevrolet Tahoe while parked in the Town Square Center parking lot. T. L. Eichelberger investigated.

Mar. 5 – Robert Paul Coupie, 44, 16 Kirsch Dr., Williamston reported vandalism causing $200 to a wooden porch. Sgt. K. J. Winn investigated.

Mar. 7 – Mar. 8 – Manuel Jimenez, 41, 2 Starr Dr., Greenville reported someone took a 1995 Jayco Pop Up Camper valued at $2000 from 712 Anderson Drive. J. B. Sanders investigated.

Mar. 8 – Talisa Dominique Young, 23, 151 Furnwood Dr., #165A Spartanburg was arrested for expired tag and driving under suspension for DUI after a gold Ford Explorer was observed on East Main St. with only one operating headlight. She was issued a UTT for both offenses. Cpl. L. E. Mulz investigated.

Mar. 7 – A bench warrant was served on James Milton Hollingsworth III, 27, 103 F Family Circle#F, Piedmont after the Anderson County Detention Center notified Williamston PD that they had him in custody. J. Rogers investigated.

Mar. 7 – Joanne Todd, 55, 5 Sunset Ct., Williamston reported a wallet containing $65 and a BB&T Visa debit card taken from the residence. The bank card was used at a BP station and at Academy Sports in Greenville. Lt. K. Ebernickle investigated.

Mar. 11 – Officers investigated a Break-in at Trinity Baptist Church after Cindy Robertson, 44, 324 Belton Dr. Williamston reported ceiling tiles and insulation pulled down in an inside room. A cell phone was found at the scene. The incident remains under investigation. Lt. K. Ebernickle investigated.

Mar. 12 – Williamston Family Dental, 312 Williams St,. reported a hose pipe cut and water turned on causing $45 in damage. J. B. Sanders investigated.

Mar. 12 – Candice Reece, 29 was arrested on outstanding bench warrant for possession of marijuana after the Belton Police Department notified Williamston PD that she was in custody. She was transported by Williamston officers to the ACDC. J. Rogers investigated.

Mar. 12 – Goodys, 17 Pelzer Ave. Williamston reported a breach of trust in which an employee used $10 coupons already used by customers for purchases for herself and then discounted the remaining balance to zero dollars and leaving the store with the merchandise. The items were valued at $170. Lt. K. Ebernickle investigated.

Mar. 13 – Katie Renee Black, 26, 310 Country Lane, Pelzer reported a 2001 Ford Explorer valued at $2000 stolen from 803 Tripp St. According to reports, Black stated that her husband was at the incident location the night before and fell asleep and when he woke the vehicle was missing. The incident remains under investigation. J. Rogers investigated.

Mar. 14 – Tammy Brady Wilson, 54, 220 Pineland Meadows Rd., Belton was arrested for outstanding bench warrant after ACDC notified Williamston PD she was in custody.

Mar. 15 – John Terry Carlton, 40, 5 Reed St., Pelzer was arrested for trespass and disorderly conduct after officers were flagged down at Fast Fuel, 207 W. Main St., in reference to a person causing a disturbance. When officers attempted to talk with the suspect he took off running. He was apprehended by West Pelzer officer Brewer on the railroad tracks behind the business. A large 9-10 inch knife was found in his possession. T. L. Eichelberger investigated.

Mar. 18 – Ulysses Sherman Murphy, III, 63, 118 W. Third St., Williamston was arrested for outstanding warrant after Abbeville County Probation and Parole contacted WPD about an outstanding warrant they had for him. Cpl. L. E. Mulz investigated.
