Chase ends in Powdersville

A mother holds a small child while a paramedic holds an infant following a chase Thursday night that began in Easley and ended in Powdersville. According to reports, Easley police attempted to stop a Dodge Charger for a traffic violation when the driver ignored their blue lights and siren. The pursuit came into Anderson County, through the Three and Twenty community and eventually into Powdersville. The chase ended at Old Easley Bridge Road and Old Pendleton Road when the driver crashed the car into a guardrail. He then jumped out and ran. As authorities approached the car they saw an infant, another small child, and their mom in the car. They were checked at the scene by EMS but were not transported to the hospital.
