The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance to help identify the subject(s) responsible for stealing three A/C units from Velocity Sports, located at 100 Powers Boulevard in Piedmont. On two separate occasions, thieves physically removed the units’ internal parts and the wiring. The units were on the ground behind the business. The first unit was taken late Friday night, May 31st or sometime Saturday before 2:30 in the afternoon. The remaining two units were taken Monday evening, June 2nd or early Tuesday morning. The units were valued at $30,000 each.
