mugsThe Warrant/Civil Division of the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office is asking for citizens’ assistance in locating two men with outstanding warrants. They are Tyler Scott Gurley, age 22, and Teddy Joe Cobb, age 41, both of Anderson.

Tyler Gurley’s last known address is 300 Silver Lane Circle in Anderson. He is described as a white male, 6’3″, 160 lbs. Gurley has multiple General Session bench warrants stemming from drug possession, larceny, malicious injury and burglary charges. Warrant Officers have spoken to Gurley’s family but he refuses to turn himself in.

Teddy Cobb’s last known address is 1524 Old Dobbins Bridge Road in Townville. He is described as a white male, 5’11’, 192 lbs. Cobb has General Session bench warrants stemming from 2 Breach of Trust incidents. Officers have also spoken to Cobb’s family. Cobb is aware of the warrants.

Sheriff John Skipper said, “We deal with this every single day. Offenders are released on bail or a Personal Recognizance Bond and then they fail to show up for their trial or court hearing. The court has no other recourse than to issue bench warrants for their arrest. We encourage these two to do the right thing and simply give us a call. We’ll be glad to give them a ride to the Detention Center.”

Anyone with information concerning the whereabouts of either individual is asked to call the Sheriff’s Warrant/Civil Division at (864) 260-4412 or 260-4413, or citizens can contact Crime Stoppers and leave a tip at 888-CRIMESC (274-6372).
