During their meeting Monday, Williamston Town Council named Attorney Lee Cole as the town’s new attorney. Council tabled first reading on a new sign ordinance, approved a request by the planning commission allowing them to request information on projects and set the date for the next election. Council also authorized work to be done on a shed in the park which is being invaded by bats and approved Hospitality Tax funding for a new sidewalk project which was just completed in the park.
