Powdersville High best in state on HSAP

Anderson School District One scored among the highest in the state on HSAP testing with Powdersville High School having the highest school score in the state. Anderson District One clearly outperformed the state percentage of students who met the HSAP standard level of 2 or higher. Anderson One’s score is the third highest in the state at 96.4. The state percentage meeting the standard was 89.8.

Anderson One’s score was also up from 94.9 in 2013.

Powdersville High School had the highest school score in the state at 98.9 percent They had a score of 97.9 in 2013.

Palmetto High improved their scores from 2013 (92.3) to 2014 (93.3)Wren High scores went from 95.0 in 2013 to 97.7 in 2014.

“We are extremely proud of the teachers and students for their outstanding accomplishment and academic growth of the students,” Assistant Superintendent for Instruction Jane Harrison said.
