Williamston Police Officers investigated the following:

July 29 – Jerry Allen Harper, Jr. 41, 101 W 5th St, Williamston reported damage to an automobile estimated at $200. T. L. Eighleberger investigated.

July 31 – Shianne Danielle Gosnell, 17, 19 Parker St., Williamston was arrested and charged with assault and battery (3rd) after officers received a report of an assault on a female juvenile. J. Sargent, C. Samuel investigated.

July 28 – Kennith Corl Hill, 25, 113 Vicki Ct., Anderson was arrested for shoplifting a t-shirt and underwear valued at $12 after officers responded to Dollar General, 526 West Main St., Williamston. R. Drennon investigated.

Aug. 1 – Xavier Kadeem Curenton, 23, 207 Ray Rd., Greenville was arrested for assault and battery (2nd degree) after being dispatched to 905 Greenville Dr. where Donnie Cureton, 50, 1302 Camelot Forest Ln., Belton reported he had been struck with a pistol. As officers arrived, the suspect left the scene in a silver Chevy Impala which pulled onto Hwy. 20 going left of center around the concrete median to miss another car. A high speed chase followed through Pelzer on Hwy. 20. G. Cremer investigated.

Aug. 5 – Jessica Lynn Maison, 29, 1103 Beaver Dam Rd, Williamston reported being punched by (name whithheld by WPD) subject who attempted to pull her from her vehicle resulting in a bump on her head, a black eye, marks from a seatbelt, cuts and scrapes. She was transported to AnMed Health Center by EMS. Officers were to speak with a judge about a warrant. Cpl. L.E. Mulz investigated.

Aug. 4 – Reva Nichole Holcombe, 27, 116 Gray Dr., reported a 8G Nook taken from her home in May. The Nook was valued at $250. J. Sargent investigated.

July 22 – Williamston officers assisted an insurance investigator with the recovery of a camper which was reported stolen in Oconee County. The camper, valued at $18,000 was purchased by a Williamston resident. Reports state the insurance investigator, Michael Holt, stated that he believes the person who purchased the camper from a friend, did no know it was stolen. Lt. K. Ebernickle investigated.

July 22 – Jennifer Dawn Gosnell, 38, 19 Parker St., Williamston reported something thrown at her vehicle causing $100 in damage. M. E. Simmons investigated.

July 22 – James Gerard Day, Jr., 20, 112 G St., Williamston was arrested for driving under suspension after a 1995 Pontiac was observed on West Main St. with a headlight out. C. Bragg investigated.

July 23 – Lori M Dyer, 38, 26 Payne Dr., Williamston reported a tire cut by an unknown object. The tire was valued at $100. M. E. Simmons investigated.

July 24 – Williamston Police Officers were dispatched to an accidental shooting incident. According to reports, Sean Deric Smith, 32, 114 Edgewood Dr. was accidentally shot in the left hand when a gun he was cleaning went off. Williamston EMS treated the wounds and he was transported to AnMed Health ER. Sgt. K. . Winn, G. Cremer investigated.

July 25 – Maxie Campbell, 68, 408 E. Main St., Williamston reported unknown subjects broke into the coin dispensers of four vacuum machines. Approximately $125 in coins were taken. Damage to the machines was estimated at $265. C. Samuel, Cpl. L.E. Mulz investigated.

July 27 – Kayla Leighanne Davis, 19, 111 McDonald Ave., Williamston reported paying a $300 deposit to turn on water to a house she was renting in Anderson. According to reports, when Davis went to the house, the key did not open the door. It was later discovered the house was a foreclosure and belonged to a bank. The incident remains under investigation. Cpl. L. E. Mulz, C. Samuel investigated.

July 25 – Michelle Leigh Millwood, 28, 825 Joe Black Rd,. #8, Williamston was arrested for outstanding warrants with the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office. She was found hiding in a closet in a house at 12 Bruce St. in Williamston. M. E. Simmons investigated.

July 28 – Officers are investigating an indecent exposure incident in which a complainant stated she observed an unknown white male exposing himself while sitting in a vehicle in the parking lot at 201 East Main St. Sgt. K. J. Winn investigated.
