Anderson County Sheriff’s Deputies investigated the following:

EASLEY

Aug. 22 – C.L. Wilkinson was dispatched to the Spinx gas station on Hwy. 153 where an employee reported that a black male walked into the store, grabbed two bottles of beer and put them in his pants and left, fleeing with several other black males in a tan SUV bearing SC tag# HUX 219.

Aug. 22 – S.L. Steward responded to 2350 Highway 153 where William Taylor reported that someone had stolen some of his equipment from his trailer where he was doing some yard work. Stolen were a Stihl backpack blower and a Stihl weedeater. The loss was estimated at $1000.

Aug. 22 – J. Velez responded to 3535 Pelzer Hwy. where John Jackson reported the breaking and entering into his home, and the theft of a large jar of coins and two laptop computers. Surveillance video showed a masked white male wearing a dark gray Russell Co. T shirt and a blue back pack. The subject had a deer skull and antlers tattoo on his right forearm, and he left in an 80s model two door black Chevy truck.

Aug. 23 – S.L. Steward responded to 1716 Old Pendleton Road where Carey Grant reported that someone had forced entry into his home, and had ransacked the bedroom, stealing several pieces of jewelry and a.25 caliber Raven pistol. The loss was estimated at $3040.

Aug. 23 – C.C. Brazier responded to 123 Kaleope Rd. where Ashley Turmon, WF, 30 stated that her neighbor, no name or description provided, had assaulted her during an argument about the neighbor’s loud music. Brazier intended to present the case to a magistrate.

Aug. 24 – C.C. Brazier responded to the WalMart Super Center where he placed Kayla Solly, WF, 5’5″, 150 pounds, of Greenville, on trespass notice as well as placing her under arrest for shoplifting.

PELZER

Aug. 22 – P.F. Elliott responded to 2 Burt St. where Arandia Artemio reported that someone had broken into his Jeep and taken a JBL 12 inch sub woofer valued at $250.

Aug. 22 – P.F. Elliott was dispatched to 6 Courtney St. where Donald Wooten reported the theft of his 2007 Toyota Sequoia and his 1996 Harley Davidson. The loss was set at $24,000.

Aug. 24 – P.F. Elliott responded to 15 Smith St. where Lynn Duvall reported the theft of her riding lawn mower, valued at $500.

Aug. 24 – C.T. Purdy received a telephone report from Patricia Cox of 208 Mill St., who reported that someone had stolen her red Troy Bilt push mower, valued at $100.

PIEDMONT

Aug. 23 – B. Surratt responded to 9 Archie St. where Pamela Henderson reported that someone had broken the back window out of her car. Damage was estimated at $400.

Aug. 23 – C.C. Brazier met with Sheila Heck, of Sanford, NC who reported that she had experienced car trouble several days earlier while traveling from Atlanta to Sanford. She left the car at the 39 mile marker and had her family pick her up. Her car was subsequently stolen. The loss was estimated at $20,000.

Aug. 24 – S.L. Steward responded to 251 Jackson Dr. where Mark Griffin reported that someone had broken into the metal storage building and stole two outboard motors and several power tools. The loss was set at $3400.

Aug. 24 – C.C. Brazier responded to 9 Archie St. where Brian Henderson reported that someone – name and description withheld by ACSO – had come to his house with several friends trying to fight him over a pool room bet the previous night. The damage done to his door as they tried to force entry was set at $250.

WILLIAMSTON

Aug. 23 – P.F. Elliott responded to 101 Kilgore Rd. where Sandra Wilbanks reported the theft of a solar power unit used to open the gate to her property. The loss was estimated at $150.

Aug. 23 – P.F. Elliott responded to 1001 Beaverdam Rd. where Joe Blackwell reported the theft of a tree mounted game camera valued at $100.
