GWBA Golf Tournament set for October 24

The Greater Williamston Business Association (GWBA) Fall Golf Tournament is planned for Oct. 24th at Saluda Valley Golf Course in WIlliamston.

There will be cash prizes for the top three teams, a chance to win a new Keystone 23 foot Camper from Karolina Koaches, door prizes, breakfast and lunch provided including snacks and drinks while playing.

Organizers are currently accepting applications for teams and hole sponsors. “Being a hole sponsor is a great way to market your business to everyone playing,” President Chris Trotter said. “Sponsors can set up and hand out food, free marketing information and promotional gifts, talk to players, or just hand out business cards. The GWBA will provide a sign with company name for sponsors.

Team applications are available on the GWBA website at www.gwba.info and at Ace Hardware & Rental, Community First Bank and First Citizens Bank. Applications and door prizes may also be dropped off at these businesses.

The tournament will be four person Captains Choice. Registration fee of $160 includes entry fee, cart, door prizes and lunch. Maximum individual handicap is 24, mininum team handicap is 40. Mulligans, red tee will be available on the day of the event at $5 each. There will be cash prizes with first place receiving $400, second $200 and third place $100.
