The November 4 election will include candidates for the Anderson County Board of Education and School District Trustees for the followiing offices:
Anderson County Board Of Education – Single member Districts 1, 3, 4, 5, and 6. The qualified electors in each district shall elect one member to each of the afore mentioned seats.
School District Trustees include District 1—Areas 1, 4, 5, 7 : District 2—Area 1, (two seats to fill), 3, 4, At Large: District 3—Areas 1, 4, At Large: District 4—Areas 2, 4, 5; and District 5—Areas 2, 5, 6, and At Large.
Qualified voters in each school district will elect one member to each of the seats in their area, with the exception of School District 2 Area 1 where two members will be elected.
The terms of office of elected board members and trustee will commence on the first day of January following the general election and shall be for four years. The candidate in each district receiving the highest number of votes cast shall be declared elected.
The last day to register to vote in the election is October 4. School District 2 election includes those Greenville County voters in this School District as well as the Anderson County voters eligible to vote in these elections.
