Williamston Police Officers investigated the following:

Sept. 20 – Joshua Logan Davis, 26, 108 E. Street, Williamston was arrested for driving under suspension after a black VW was observed on Academy St. with a single tail light. SC B. Hardy investigated.

Sept. 19 – Yoland Doreen Smith, 51, 3 Ellison St,. Williamston was arrested for disorderly conduct after officers were dispatched to the residence in reference to a civil disturbance. According to reports, she had recently been evicted from the property and was not supposed to be on the grounds. C. Samuel, Cpl. L. E. Mulz investigated.

Sept. 19 – Two dogs were taken to Anderson County PAWS after officers observed code violations of excessive grass and weeds at 803 Tripp St., Williamston. According to reports, water had been cut off at the residence and no one had been seen there in 3-5 days or longer. Cpl. L. E. Mulz investigated.

Sept. 19 – Drion Blake Rainey, 20, 19 Parker St., Williamston was issued a summons for minor in possession of beer after officers observed him in the Veterans Park with two beers. C. Samuel, Cpl. L. E. Mulz investigated.

Sept. 16 – Williamston Police Officer M. E. Simmons assisted officers of two other agencies at an incident which occurred at the 7 Eleven at the corner of Hwy. 8 and Hwy. 20 in West Pelzer/Pelzer. According to reports, Justin Tyler Smith, 25, 1004 McEnroe Circle, Piedmont was arrested after a white truck he was driving was observed driving on SC Hwy. 20 with a flat tire. The vehicle, which was believed to be involved in a burglary incident, pulled into the business parking lot and drove to an air tank. Upon investigation, a gun was observed under the seat. Anderson County Deputy Williams and West Pelzer Sergant Maxwell placed Smith under arrest.

Sept. 16 – Lisa McAbee Sammons, 51, 416 Belton Dr., #D6 reported five different prescripton medicines stolen from her residence. C. Bragg investigated.

Sept. 16 – Henry Dale Shaw, 38, 204 Jalan Dr., Williamston was arrested for outstanding bench warrant for failure to appear when he appeared in the WPD lobby. He was taken into custody to appear before court where he paid the remainder of a fine and was released. Capt. K. Marsee investigated.

Sept. 9 – Two 14-year-old juvenile females were arrested for fighting at Palmetto High School, 804 North Hamilton St., in Williamston. Both females had been warned about fighting the day before when a Facebook posting reference they planned to fight the next day. Both girls were transported to WPD where they were released to their mothers. J. Sargent investigated.

Sept. 15 – Michael Shane Ebert, 17, 5 Sunset Ct., Williamston was arrested for simple possession of marijuana after he was called to the principal’s office regarding school policy of tobacco. Reports state in addition to cigars and a lighter, Ebert had a clear plastic baggie containing a 4.1 grams of a green leafy-like substance field tested as marijuana. J. Sargent investigated.

Sept. 8 – Robert Rivas, 53, 35 Traxler St., Williamston reported someone used his Discover Card for purchases of $454.54 and $471.12 at the Dollar General Store in Mauldin. Lt. K. Ebernickle investigated.
