Williamston Police Officers investigated the following incidents:

Oct. 8 – James Kevin Woodson, 39, 105 Mackey St. Williamston was arrested for outstanding warrrant with Williamston Police Department after officers were dispatched to 109 Mackey St. in reference to a domestic dispute. M. E. Simmons investigated.

Oct. 9 – Officers investigated an incident in which several mailboxes had apparently been opened by unknown individuals. Reports state several mailboxes on Byron St., River Drive Extension and Hilltop Circle were open. C. Bragg investigated.

Oct. 9 – Shannon Dominic Black, 33, 130 West 1st St., Williamston reported damage to the front door caused by attempted forced entry to the house. Nothing was reported missing. C. Bragg investigated.

Oct. 10 – Haven of Rest Thrift Store, 559 West Main St, Williamston reported the lock to the basement door pried off. It could not be determined if anything was missing. The incident remains under investigation. G. Cremer investigated.

Oct. 10 – Terry Austin Glasby, 58, 104 W 2nd St., Williamston was arrested for public disorderly conduct after offiers responded to the above address in reference to a suspicious person call. R. Drennon investigated.

Oct. 12 – Kenneth Douglas Erwin, 25, 106 Briar Ridge W, Williamston was placed on trespass notice for 716 Academy St., Church of God. Reports state he turned his moped into the church parking lot and chased kids who were playing at the church into a nearby yard. G. Cremer investigated.
