Tony Hagood is running for re-election to the Williamston Town Council Ward One seat he has held since being elected to his first term. “I can convey that thepast four years have been an opportune learning experience for me and I am grateful to the past administration as well as the present one,” Hagood said.
He said he would like to continue to serve Ward 1 and the Town of Williamston by creating and supporting innovative ideas that promote and stimulate economic growth.
“I will continue to work with and communicate with each department and the department heads to insure that our residents are receiving the best service possible.”
According to Hagood, the town’s most recent audit shows the town is in good financial shape and if elected, he said he will continue to work with the mayor and council to maintain the good steward status of tax payers dollars.
“I will be running as a write-in candidate, and I am asking for your prayers and your vote,” Hagood said.
