The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest in which a Greenville woman was advertising Clemson and South Carolina tickets and parking passes for sale, receiving money and then not sending the tickets to the victims.

The Sheriff’s Office has been investigating reports from five different victims since April. According to reports, Melissa McAfee Grey, 51, is charged with one count of Computer Crime 2nd Degree.

In all five cases, the victims sent Grey money and never received their tickets. They attempted several times to contact her and she would never respond after she received their money. Once law enforcement got involved, Grey returned all five of the victims’ money to them.

Investigators ask if there is anyone else who has been a victim of Melissa Grey, to contact the Sheriff’s Office at 864-271-5210.
